Over 500,000 low-income individuals and families found support and assistance at Community Action Agencies in FY 2011. Programs are operated through a comprehensive network of 20 Community Action Agencies (CAAs) that geographically encompass the entire state.

The mission of Tennessee Association of Community Action is to empower local Community Action Agencies in Tennessee to promote self-sufficiency in families and communities through the provision of training, technical assistance, and advocacy.
